Venture Canoes Afon is the New Whitewater and Crusier. 

Afon is the Welsh Traslation of "Avon" which itself is derived from the ancient British word for "river" this simple word in itself says everything about this canoe. 

Rivers can be tranquil, or they can be wild, and the Afon is a canoe in which you can enjoy either variety, as well as everything inbetween, Whether paddled solo or tandem. 

High volume ends, a flared bow, a subtle v-hull, and paddle cutaways all produce a canoe that is responsive and an utter joy to paddle, whilst continuous hull curvature gives a progressive feel, and high secondary stability. 

The Afton is available in 2 specs:

• White water; featuring traditional extruded gunwales, which can be cut lower to suit smaller, lighter paddlers.
• Cruiser; with fully moulded - in end decks and gunwales, with recessed lacing and seat & handle fastenings, for a uniquely tougher approach.
