Whitewater kayaks are often divided into two groups; high volume Creeking kayaks, and lower volume River Runners.
River Runners often have lower volume which is balanced to give a good allround ride. These kayaks have a flat planning hull, designed to be fast, so they are great for river features and surf. The outfitting is usually adjustable to give you a comfortable and snug fit, to let you have good control over the kayak whilst also being comfortable enough to let you paddle for hours.
Creekers are high volume kayaks designed for bigger waters, bigger drops and harder lines. The stock at Kent Canoes varies from Creekers with softer, more forgiving edges, to top end Creekers with hard rails and top spec features. We have a range available from Wavesport, Liquid Logic, Pyranha and Dagger.
These kayaks are longer than playboats, so you have space for airbags, safety kit and accessories.
