"We are primarily a recreation based club based in Braintree Essex, with club trips run throughout the year. Interests go from local placid water runs through to white-water trips in the UK and abroad. We have a canoe polo team currently competing in Division 3 of the National Polo League and we also have an active sea-paddling contingent and take part in surf trips every year."

Several forms of canoeing are undertaken with the most popular being whitewater, slalom and surfing.
