Delivery charges are displayed on our website. The prices shown are correct at time of writing but are subject to changes at any time. We reserve the right to make these changes. They are intended to be a guide as to what you can expect to pay.

Kent Canoes aim to provide you with your ordered goods as soon as possible and will make every effort to ensure you are happy with our service.

However, there may be factors beyond our control that will affect your delivery, e.g postal strikes, weather and natural disasters. We cannot be held responsible for any delays relating to these circumstances. We will aim to meet your requests at all times or better them if we can.

Customers in the UK

Once we have received your order and payment we aim to supply your goods as soon as possible.
Items in stock will be dispatched the same day if orders are received before 2pm, or the following working day thereafter.
Non stock items are dependant on availability from the manufacturers and can range from 7-14 days or longer. We recommend you contact us to check availability and lead times before committing to an order. We will not be able to guarantee lead or delivery times but will do our up-most to keep you informed of the situation.

Royal Mail

We use Royal Mail services for small items like gloves, socks, roofrack straps, books etc of small nominal value. Prices are dependent on the value and weight of the item which will determine whether the item is to be sent by standard, recorded, or courier service. Most packets up to 1Kg start from £3.90 on a standard 1st class delivery to arrive next day.

Courier Service

Small - Medium / Multiple Small Items like cags, trousers, helmets, pfds etc with values over £50 will be sent by courier, normally by Parcelforce. Items ordered before 2pm will be dispatched the same day and items should be received within 2 working days, although this is not guaranteed. Next day or fast track deliveries are available at special request and will incur an additional cost.

Large Items like boxes, paddles will be dispatched and sent by courier to be received within 2 working days, although this is not guaranteed. A next day service is available at extra cost. Please contact us for details.

Bulk Items or Large Items including Kayaks and Canoes are delivered by ourselves and can be delivered to a home or business address. Our driver will contact you directly to arrange a delivery time to ensure you are home to receive your goods. We aim to make deliveries as cost-effective as possible so may group deliveries by region, and as a result delivery may take a bit longer. We will try to give you an estimated delivery date but will not be able to confirm until nearer the time. Alternatively we deliver boats under 3.2m in length via courier on a 3 working day service but please note we cannot specify which day and time, within that delivery time, the boat will arrive with you.
NB If we feel it is not viable to deliver to your region, for any reason, we will advise you at the time of ordering if this is the case and that other arrangements may have to be made e.g collection/ own courier collection or meeting point.

Receiving Orders

Please ensure you check the package for any signs of damage. If there is no damage apparent then you can sign for the goods or open and inspect the goods for loss or damage before signing for them. Do not accept the goods if there is damage to your goods or any missing and contact us immediately. If you sign for the goods and then later find the items are missing or damaged we will not able to deal with any claim through the courier company.

Collections

You can collect your items ordered that are in stock direct from the store. This is the best way to purchase your goods as you can try items first to ensure they fit and are correct for the purpose. We can advise you over the phone but it is recommended to try things first so you are 100% happy with your purchase. Items ordered will be allocated to you and you will be notified of its status. We would like you to collect your order within 2 weeks. Other arrangements can be made if you contact us direct.

Non-UK Customers

We may be able to ship goods to you by courier from the UK but it is advisable you contact us by phone or e-mail for estimated costs before placing an order. You may prefer to arrange your own shipping company to collect from us in the UK. Contact us for further details.
