Kayak Programme
Kayak Taster Session - £39 Per person
Click here for more information Our half-day kayak taster sessions are ideal for those wanting to try a single seater kayak in a relaxed and easy going way. After a safety briefing, it will be time to get on the water. You will learn some basic paddling techniques and enjoy a short river journey on the beautiful river Medway.

Minimum age: 8

BCU One Star Kayak - £79*Per person, Under 18s - £69* Per person
Click here for more information This is a one day course on the river Medway for complete beginners and covers the basic skills needed to safely manoeuvre a solo kayak on flat water.
The course follows the syllabus of the BCU 1 Star Award, which may be taken at the end of the day.

Minimum age: 12

17th March,  14th April,  12th May,  16th June,  7th July,  11h August,  8th September, 6th October.

BCU Two Star Kayak - £79* Per person, Under 18s - £69* Per person

The BCU Two star award covers both canoeing and kayaking. This course covers the kayaking element of the award at BCU 2 Star standard. Personal paddling skills, safety skills, rescue skills, and leadership and group control skills are all covered on this course.

Minimum age 12.

Open Canoe Programme (Scroll down for River Trips)
Open Canoe Taster Session - £39 Per person
Click here for more information Our half-day open canoe taster sessions are for those who want to try open canoeing for the first time. We will be using two seater open canoes and single bladed paddles. These boats are ideal for tandem paddling and families. After a safety briefing, it will be time to get on the water. You will learn a few basic paddling techniques and enjoy a short river journey on the beautiful river Medway.

Minimum age 8.

23rd June,  14th July,  25th August,  15th September.

BCU One Star Open Canoe - £79*Per person, Under 18s - £69* Per person
Click here for more information A one day course designed for complete beginners and covers all the basic skills needed to safely manoeuvre a tandem open canoe on flat water using single bladed paddles. The course follows the syllabus of the BCU 1 Star award which may be taken at the end of the day.

Open Canoeing Trips
River Medway Canoe Trip - £59*Per person, Under 18s - £49* Per person
Click here for more information This is a one-day, guided open canoeing adventure on the Medway from Tonbridge to Yalding. There are four canoe passes we can run, just to add to the excitement, conditions allowing. There is also a section known as “the jungle” for those that would like to test their manoeuvring skills a little further! We use two seater open canoes, which are ideal for tandem paddling and families. Bring a picnic and enjoy a fantastic day on this beautiful section of river.

BCU 3 Star Open Canoe training/assessment on River Canche - Northern France £195 Per person
Click here for more information This is a two day BCU Open Canoe 3 Star Course on the river Canche in Northern France - about one hour’s drive from Calais. The course covers the full BCU Open Canoe Star syllabus, including moving water skills, poling and sailing. Candidates need to be at least BCU 2 Star Open Canoe standard or above to attend this course. The course is lead by a highly experienced BCU Level 3 Open Canoe Coach. Candidates can either paddle tandem or solo.

 Minimum age 18.

5th-6th May,  1st - 2nd September.
